No time to waste!

hello all!....yet again! :D

Well this week has been interesting because I don't really have time to procrastinate. There is so much to do in so little time that I have to work on things when I can find the time for it. My sleep has been a bit off, but its more due to finishing up projects, doing homework, or doing intense studying.I would say besides sleeping late...by just an hr..which isnt too bad, I have done pretty well this week. It basically followed the schedule of last week but I dont feel like it was because I purposely procrastinated. I worked hard, and with the semester coming to a close things are coming at me fast. I still feel good about the conditioning, and I feel that once thursday evening comes everything will be back on track.

  1. Yeah sometimes every class you have decides to assign a ridiculous amount of work all at the same time and especially since the semester is coming to a close... i totally understand though but way to stay on top of it.. some ideas that were given to me were using note cards with different colors to show which ones are more urgent than others...good luck finishing up the semester!

  2. I am glad to hear that you did well on not procrastinating. The semester is ending soon, so there will be lot of stuff to do. Keep going to get rid of this behavior.

  3. Hey Phyli!
First, you didn't procrastinate but did have a lot of hw, studying, and projects to get done this last week and you did get them done so good job on that!I do agree with Ray on the notecards and I think they will help you out a lot, I'm even thinking that I should start doing the same as well! But overall, good job this week and since the semester is coming to an end you need to really focus and be on top of things because you don't want to be doing everything at once. Also, from looking at your behavior change I don't think you have to worry about that. Keep up the good work!

  4. This is interesting. Do you think that it was operant conditioning itself that has made you stick to the non-procrastination program? Some classmates have noticed that there has been a weak link between results and actual use of the rules of operant con. But anyway, you have made progress, a lot and it seems like you no longer put things off for later, even if only because you lack time. Semester is almost over...one more month keep it up!

  5. I like that you don't have time to procrastinate. In my experience, procrqastination starts when you have too much time on your hands, so end up doing nothing productive with your time until the last minute. Well, i'm glad all is going well and you finally break the habit of procrastination. Best of luck!

  6. Hi Phylicia, I know these last couple of weeks have been tough. So many projects and tests were due at the same time. Things should get a little easier here for a couple weeks, and then we have finals! augh! But good job on keeping up and not procrastinating. Lisa
